Job summary

Kettering General Hospital is seeking to appoint a high impact, compassionate Digital Director, responsible to our Hospital Chief Executive for execution of strategy/day to day operational matters and professionally accountable to the Group Chief Digital Information Officer for delivery of Group strategic goals.

The key responsibility of the Digital Director is to provide vision and technical leadership in the delivery of the digital and technology aims of each Trust, aligned to the Group Digital Strategy to enable wider improvements across the Group in quality, efficiency and business effectiveness. Main duties of the job

Working in a matrix management arrangement, the post holder will form an integral part of the Hospital Executive team, being responsible to the Hospital Chief Executive for execution of the technology and information strategy and day to day operational matters and professionally accountable to the Group Chief Digital Information Officer for Group Digital strategic goals.

The post holder will have responsibility for all of the Trust's Digital portfolio on a day to day basis and work to our principles of:

  • Do things once for both - take every opportunity to provide solutions, processes, suggestions, learning etc that is done once for both hospitals.

The post holder will be required to provide advice on and manage complex technology issues across the entire Trust and contribute to the overall delivery of the Group Digital Strategy.

  • Qualified at practitioner level of a recognised programme/project management methodology
