Job summary

The Medical Directorate invites applications for a position of Trust Grade Registrar/Interventional Fellow inRespiratoryMedicine for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension. The post is within the Respiratory Medicine Department and It is essential that applicants have a minimum of 2 years' experience within General Medicine and have obtained at least Part 2 MRCP. Past NHS experience would also be preferred. We also support Training & Education and welcome applicants who may wish to apply for CESR or MTI.

Main duties of the job

This post would also be ideal for post CCT candidates seeking to do a short period of Interventional fellowship in Respiratory medicine. Opportunities exist to learn Level 2 thoracic ultrasound, EBUS, Thoracoscopies, Lung and Neck node biopsies as well as ambulatory management of pneumothorax.
