Consultant Psychiatrist in Inpatient Services

Job summary
An exciting opportunity to work as an inpatient consultant psychiatrist working across a move on open community rehabilitation unit and a PICU (where you will carry a small caseload). You will provide senior expertise in the assessment and treatment of patients with complex psychosis and rehabilitation needs. The post holder will work with colleagues of other professional disciplines (ward manager, clinical lead, social worker, OT, pharmacist) to provide a tailored multidisciplinary package of treatment and support rehabilitation and recovery.
Main duties of the job
Your role will be to hold RC responsibility for patients under your care. You will provide medical leadership to the MDT. The role provides excellent opportunity in being a leader and work on improving pathways for patients within the service.
