This is an Excellent opportunity for a Full Time Team Manager position within the North Cumbria Crisis Team, working as part of an established and supportive leadership team.
This is a Full time post however applicants wishing to work part time will be considered. Flexible working requests will be considered inline with trust policy.
The Team Manager is responsible for the day to day operational management of the team and accountable for providing safe, effective care and an efficient service, to patients and their carers who live within the North Cumbria community.
We are seeking an individual who has operational leadership experience. and ideally experience and knowledge of supporting individuals in crisis.
Main duties of the job
Provide day-to-day operational management of the team, hold excellent communication skills and ability to form positive working relationships with Systems Partners
Lead on the recruitment, induction and development of staff.
Conducting managerial supervision, appraisal and oversight of staff training and development needs.
Managing performance and absence in line with trust policy.
Ensure statutory and mandatory training is completed in line with contractual requirements.
Oversight of patient and carer experience of the service and effective management of any complaints and feedback.
Lead on all HR processes as required.
Motivate, engage and develop the team within a multi-disciplinary team environment
Lead and coordinate team communication, including holding regular team meetings, communicating and consulting on service changes, and acting as a conduit of information
Support Team following Serious Incidents with Debrief, Local and After Action Review Process and Serious Incident Panels.
