Job summary
An new exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join the North Tyneside Community Treatment Team as Team Secretary/ Administration Officer based at Oxford Centre.
The post holder will support the Access Team and provide secretarial cover to the Consultants to provide an effective and responsive admin service.
This is a full time permanent role, 37.5hrs per week, working Monday to Friday inclusive.
Main duties of the job
You will undertake a variety of admin duties as assigned by the Admin Team Lead and Admin Manager/Consultants/Clinical Managers.
The post holder must facilitate excellent customer service and be confident in dealing with service users face to face as well as on the telephone.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate proven 12 month experience in the following administration skills that are required for this post.
- Experience in a customer/patient focused environment
- Experience in Administration/Secretarial post
- A good understanding of inputting data to a database system (RIO)
- A good working knowledge ofMicrosoft applications, including e-mail communication
- Fast, accurate typing/keyboard skills
- Diary management
- Working from shared inbox
- Note/minute taking skills and experience of typing live into Rio
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be self-directed, motivated and be able to contribute positively within a team
- Well organised and structured
- Use own initiative, work under pressure and keep to strict deadlines

- The post holder will be expected to demonstrate flexibility in the role in order to meet the needs of the service.
