An exciting opportunity to work as an inpatient consultant psychiatrist in a move on open community rehabilitation unit.
You will provide senior expertise in the assessment and treatment of patients with complex psychosis and rehabilitation needs.
The post holder will work with colleagues of other professional disciplines (ward manager, clinical lead, social worker, OT, pharmacist) to provide a tailored multidisciplinary package of treatment and support rehabilitation and recovery.

Main duties of the job
Your role will be to hold RC responsibility for patients admitted to the unit.
You will provide medical leadership to the MDT.
The role provides excellent opportunity in being a leader and work on improving pathways for patients within the service.

- MBBS or equivalent
- Registration with the GMC (or eligible to become registered) with a licence to practice
- Included on GMC Specialist Register for general psychiatry or eligible for inclusion or included within six months of CCT
- Approved Clinician status
Desirable
- Possess a CCT or (equivalence) in general Psychiatry
- Endorsement in rehabilitation
- Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field
- Has undergone training in supervision
