Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the North locality Community Clinical Business Unit for a permanent full time Band 8a Clinical Manager. The post is to manage the Central and North Northumberland Community Treatment Teams with bases in Ashington, Alnwick and Berwick. This post is integral to the safe and effective delivery of community mental health care and for the development of services within the Community Mental Health Transformation programme.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide clinical and professional leadership to support the teams inproviding the highest possible quality of care. They will maintain a high profile within the Clinical Business Unit. Working with the Group Nurse Director they will develop and promote effective nursing practice and patient care policies including specificresponsibilities to designated CBU within the Trust. They will work with the Associate Director ensuring that services and processes are co-ordinated to achieve, safe, high quality care. The post holder will be expected to promote a culture of improvement and excellence in delivering services for our patients and carers.
