The Library and Knowledge Services team at Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust are seeking a Clinical Effectiveness Librarian. We deliver high quality, customer-focused library and knowledge services to staff and students. As part of a dispersed team working from four libraries, you will play a key role in supporting staff and students across the organisation to access and use evidence-based resources to inform their practice.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will:
- manage, deliver and evaluate an efficient evidence search service to inform decision making at all levels.
- keep colleagues up to date with recently published evidence.
- deliver and promote services to support evidence-based practice and lifelong learning including designing, delivering and evaluating library inductions and training.
- work with colleagues, regional and national networks, and external partners to maintain and share good practice within recognised frameworks.
