Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a ward manager on Elsdon Ward. Elsdon Ward is a medium secure ward within our newly opened MSU -Sycamore Unit at Northgate Park.
Elsdon provides treatment and care for men with a mental illness who may have offending behaviours and require a period of habitation.
Main duties of the job
You will work jointly with the current Clinical Team Leads offering effective leadership and day to day management of the team.
Day to day management of the team includes recruitment of staff, conducting appraisals, managing performance and supporting the health and well-being of staff.
The Clinical Manager will also be available to offer guidance and support on a daily basis
Applicants must have at least 2 years working as a band 6 and experience in working in a secure service.
You should have a collaborative and enthusiastic style as well as a passion and commitment to networking with other services.
