Job summary
Castleside is a ten bedded, mixed sex ward which specialises in delivering excellent care to older adults who are living with complex cognitive impairment. We are looking for a staff nurse to join our team who will fully embrace this specialised and highly rewarding post and demonstrate a passion for working with our patient group while being supported by an excellent MDT. It is essential you have experience and are able to take charge of the ward. It is also expected that you are highly motivated and flexible and able to work days, nights and weekends.
Main duties of the job
Act as a Primary/Named Nurse within a multi-disciplinary team, developing collaborative, and needs led care plans, through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
Provide excellent professional, skilled and effective person centred, evidence based nursing care.
Be actively involved in the health and wellbeing of staff and service users.
Be visible and accessible to patients, families and carers working together to ensure efficient, effective and caring services.
Contribute to achieving all performance indicators, essential standards and quality outcomes
