The successful candidate will be provided with training, supervision, and guidance to help expand on their current knowledge and skills.

The post holder will be expected to provide care co-ordination and treatment for service users with a primary diagnosis of Anorexia Nervosa, or severe medically complicated Bulimia Nervosa. The post holder will be expected to contribute regularly to the duty system managing queries and referrals to the team. There will be an expectation to provide scaffolding advice and training to other professionals outside of CAEDS who are also supporting people with eating difficulties.

The evidenced based treatments currently offered are predominately MANTRA/MANTRA informed therapy and Specialist Structured Clinical Management (SSCM) if the successful candidate has not had this training, these opportunities will be available.

CAEDS covers quite a large geographical area spanning across Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland, South of Tyne, North Tyneside and Northumberland.
