Job summary
Applications are invited from qualified and experienced administration candidates to join our busy administration teams. We currently have the following Administration Assistant vacancy with the South community team.
Part time 30 hours per week
This is a very busy services and the successful post holders will be members of admin teams to support the multi-disciplinary clinical teams to provide a comprehensive, high quality administrative service at all times. The post holder must have proven administration experience including facilitating excellent customer service and be confident in dealing with service users face to face as well as on the telephone. You will undertake a variety of duties including answering busy telephone line, reception duties, dealing with day to day queries, updating patient information system, sorting incoming/outgoing post, completing work from a shared inbox/work tray as well as other administration tasks, all under the direction of the Administration Team Lead.
Main duties of the job
Candidates must be able to demonstrate proven admin experience within the last 12 months in the following skills that are required for this post:
- Experience in a customer / patient focused environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal Skills
- Fast, accurate typing/keyboard skills,
- A good understanding of inputting data to a database system
- A good working knowledge of all Microsoft packages (word/excel/office packages)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be self-directed, motivated and be able to contribute positively within a team
- Well organised and structured
- The post holder will be expected to demonstrate flexibility in the role in order to meet the needs of the service
- The post holder must be able to demonstrate the ability to deal with possible exposure to highly distressing or highly emotional circumstances and will be expected to participate on all relevant training courses appropriate to the role
- You should currently hold the required level of qualifications, as outlined in the Essential Criteria of the Personal Specification otherwise you will not be shortlisted
