The team is made up of a Crisis , Assessment and Treatment team. We have several pathways within the service offering intervention to children and young people aged up to 18yrs. Working closely with family, carer's and the professional system to achieve the best possible outcomes and support healthy transitions.
Main duties of the job
To assist in the delivery of care to young people & their families who have a variety of needs, diverse presentations, and a range of mental health conditions, cognitive and/or learning disabilities under the direction of a registered practitioner. The overall responsibility for the service user remains, always with the registered practitioner.
To implement and evaluate care within a prescribed framework as a member of the care team ensuring that high quality, individualised care is delivered and that this promotes recovery and wellbeing and maximises independence.
To support the team in providing excellent and effective person-centred care.
To provide compassionate care that is based on empathy, kindness, respect, and dignity.
Take part in MDT meetings.
Have an awareness & understanding of safeguarding.
Have an awareness & understanding of Risk management.
To actively engage with supervision and appraisal process as identified in Trust policy.
Support clinicians with simple administration tasks.

We work mainly in the community seeing children & young people and their families within clinic's, their homes and sometimes online via TEAMS. We also see young people in hospital if in Crisis.
