Job summary
Gateshead West CTT are excited to be offering an exciting Band 7 Clinical Lead opportunity for 12 months to cover a secondment. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate collective leadership to work within the multi-disciplinary team, and to work closely with the senior management team.
As a clinical lead, you will be expected to provide support, advice and supervision to the team and ensure operational efficiency of clinical pathways. The clinical lead will be expected to demonstrate excellent clinical skills in working with adults with secondary mental health care needs and represent the team both within CNTW and with external stakeholders.
The successful post holder will be expected to demonstrate strong commitment to high quality client care, good organisational skills and be able to demonstrate prioritisation of workload. Key challenges over the period will be to ensure care continues to be safe, effective, and responsive, and to support with community transformation within a pioneering team.

Main duties of the job
The main roles of this post are to manage referrals, support assessment and provide clinical expertise in formulating treatment plans and interventions. The successful post holder will also provide clinical supervision & case management guidance. In return the successful candidate can expect, regular clinical and managerial supervision, the opportunity to work in a team with a well established supportive leadership team.

- Registered Mental Health Nurse/ Registered Learning Disability Nurse (minimum of 2 years post qualification experience).)
- Practice assessor/supervisor.
- Relevant Clinical Training and post graduate Qualification
Desirable
- NMP qualification
- Evidence of experience in therapeutic interventions relevant to specialty, i.e. nurse Prescribing, CBT, DBT, PSI, EFT, NLP and Family Interventions, Group work.
