CNTW Services Memory Matters Service at Carleton Clinic, Carlisle are looking to recruit a part time Administration Assistant, to work three days a week to join our team. The post holder will work in the admin office at Geltwood House, Carleton Clinic
This position is:
- Part-time (22.5 hours each week)
- Permanent
- Office based - Remote working cannot be considered
The purpose of this role is to provide front-facing duties and providing general administration tasks to the wider team, this will include taking minutes and covering reception duties as and when required.
The post holder will be supported and trained by experienced administrative staff and work closely with the Administration Manager.
The post holder will report directly to the Administration Manager, but will work closely with the wider administrative team in ensuring the day-to-day deliverables are met.

Main duties of the job
You will work alongside an experienced admin staff to learn the role and the post holder should have:
- Experience of providing reception duties
- Experience of call handling in a busy environment - It is critical that excellent customer service is delivered in person or over the telephone
- Good organisational skills
- Be able to prioritise a fluctuating workload
- Proven experience of working with Microsoft packages
- A working knowledge of electronic record systems
- Diary management skills
- To meet the mobility requirements for this role as outlined in the job description
- Desirable: A current driving license and access to a car
The post holder will work as part of a team of administrators and will work closely with a range of clinical staff from the service.
