An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Technical Support team, which provides IT support to over 8,000 colleagues across a wide area.
The successful candidate will have:Education to NVQ Level 3, or equivalent experience. An ITIL qualification would be desirable.Knowledge of multiple systems, hardware, software and a diverse range of applications, including configuration techniques.Experience of working in a live digital department.Analytical skills for effective problem resolution.Communication skills.A high standard of accuracy.A commitment to learn and improve.
Main duties of the job
As a Technical Support Co-ordinator, you will be part of a proactive team, providing high quality second-line support. You will have the confidence and drive to work in a busy environment and will be passionate about delivering great service to colleagues at all levels. You will have a can-do attitude and a desire to thrive within a team.You will ensure that all issues are resolved in a timely manner, and ensure that users are happy with the outcome of their call every time.

- Must have a good standard of education to NVQ, HNC attainment or equivalent or appropriate level of skill
- At least 1 years experience working in an Informatics environment, providing customer support for Microsoft Windows technologies.
- Experience in working with a diverse range of operating systems and applications.
- Experience in supporting Microsoft Back office products
- Experience of building standard and also non-standard machine configurations, creating and restoring hard disk images and partitions using appropriate software

- Good understanding of Personal Computers (PCs), Printers, and a good grasp of current windows applications.
- Knowledge of one or more computer system(s), hardware or software acquired through diploma or equivalent
