Job summary

Due to the current post holder moving on we have an exciting opportunity for an appropriately experienced clinician to join the team as Clinical Lead.

As clinical lead the successful candidate will be joining a well established, supportive and dynamic team, full induction will be given with additional opportunities for internal CYPS specific training.

Main duties of the job

Clinical and caseload management supervision

Audit work

Supporting the clinical and team managers with upholding good quality standards of clinical practice.

Supervision and support to the wider team and partner agencies.

Covering and delivering clinical work where appropriate (NMP clinics if applicable)

Delivering training and presentations when required.

Managing complaints, AAR's and leading on investigations to ensure good quality care adhering to CQC standards.

  • First Level Qualification RMN/RMNH/RNLD or equivalent eg Social Worker, OT
  • Mentorship qualification
  • If applicable to service Non Medical Prescriber
  • Relevant Clinical Training and post graduate Qualification

  • Qualification in relevant psychological therapy

Experience

  • Clinical experience relevant to post
  • Supervisory experience of junior colleagues
  • Experience of delivering training and/or presentations
  • Experience of undertaking clinical audits and/or research
  • Safeguarding experience and ability to recognise and escalate concerns appropriately

  • Demonstration of ability to carry out assessment of complex mental health needs
