Job summary
A vacancy has arisen for a Staff Nurse to work within the Acute Admission Pathway at Hopewood Park, Sunderland.
The service is for male and females over the age of 18 years with a mental illness who require assessment and treatment in hospital.
Main duties of the job
You should have an interest in working within a busy and challenging environment, a level resilience and patience and will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to
You will be highly motivated and enthusiastic, possessing excellent communication skills and be able to contribute to the existing multi-disciplinary team.
You will be required to work across a 24 hour shift pattern and demonstrate a flexible attitude towards providing a needs led service.
You will be good communicator with excellent interpersonal and organisationalskills.
You will be active team player and have the ability to work on own initiative.
You will demonstrate effective leadership, being visible and accessible to patients, families and carers, ensuring efficient, effective and caring services.
