We help anyone with serious mental health problems and those in recovery for addictions pursue their employment ambitions in a highly person-centred way using an evidence-based approach that is proven to work.Following innovative service developments we have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Band 6 Team Lead in the Northumberland Recovery Partnership based at Greenacres in Ashington.

These posts are fixed-term for 24 months but we hope to extend them pending the success of this new addictions and recovery service.This job would be perfect for anyone who:

Main duties of the job

Role

The Team Leader will provide a pivotal role in managing a high-quality service that meets fidelity standards and delivers positive outcomes for service users. You will also manage a small caseload of clients to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences.

The Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the other IPS Team Leaders across the Trust to effectively lead and manage the team, ensuring the effective delivery of all work-focused and non-work focused interventions.
  • Maintain a small caseload working with people experiencing more complex barriers to employment and ensuring that knowledge gained from this work is shared with the wider team.
  • To oversee the performance of the IPS Service team to ensure that individual and team targets are achieved.
  • Working closely with the IPS Service Manager to implement service developments and new initiatives.

The Person

  • Facilitate an inclusive management style
  • Experience of working with client group or similar
  • Knowledge of employment law and the Equality Act 2010
  • High degree of personal organisation
