This is an exciting time to join Secure Care Services at Northgate Park, Morpeth due to developments within the service.
We currently have a band 5 registered nurse opportunity specifically within Tyne Hospital based Rehabilitation.
Tyne Hospital based Rehabilitation provides care for 2 gentlemen with a learning disability who have physical health needs as well as complex needs/challenging behaviours.
Main duties of the job
You will work as part of a pro-active core team and can be assured that you will be provided with support from the Ward Manager / peers from qualified team and MDT to enable the recovery and well-being of both gentlemen.
The core team of staff utilise a range of interventions, including PBS to support graded exposure and risk strategies to enable patients to access a range of community activities and community facilities to enhance their daily living.
We are looking for staff to ensure that the gentlemen are supported safely and effectively by staff that are suitably trained and have the values to enable high quality care to be delivered in an extremely rewarding but complex setting.
