Job summary
The post will enable the specialty doctor to get a range of experiences across various psychiatric specialties. The post holder will be expected to rotate in services which will be agreed in consultation with management. The range of experiences which will be available include children and young people's services, addictions services, inpatient general adult and community services, inpatient and community services for older people and services within specialist care such as eating disorders and autism.

Main duties of the job
The clinical responsibilities of the job will include assessment (medical and psychiatric), treatment and management of patients referred to the service. Multidisciplinary team working will be essential. Administration responsibilities include appropriate documentation as required within the Trust systems. The Doctors work will be supervised by the consultant psychiatrist involved within that service. The job will involve 8.5 clinical PAs and 1.5 PAs dedicating to supporting you in professional activities including continuous professional development. Post holder will also be supported in developing any academic interest and to partake in audit and research.
