Your role will be to:

Support the successful delivery of a Trust wide data warehouse for the Trusts business critical systems.

Support the Data Warehouse Manager on the development of a Trust wide reporting system including the use of dashboards.

Provide specialist advice relating to the interpretation of NHS data metrics and standards and take these into account when loading data into the data warehouse.

Provide technical expertise and in depth understanding of NHS information from a variety of systems.

Support the creation and maintenance process of nationally mandateddatasets and to ensure accurate and timely submission of all relevant statutory returns.

Main duties of the job

The Digital Services Systems Development Team provides a key function to the Trust in the areas of in-house systems development, web development (intranet and internet), data warehousing, enterprise level reporting (including dashboard development) and system support.

This important role will continue to develop and support the Trusts Data Warehouse and reporting / metric creation function. You will need a strong understanding of databases and Microsoft SQL Server development (T-SQL, Integration Services), Reporting Services (Report Builder) and PowerBI. Microsoft Azure exposure would be advantageous.

You will have a good understanding of NHS data, metrics and standards and will have experience of working with an enterprise level data warehouse. An understanding of NHS commissioning, datasets and performance targets would be advantageous.
