The Inpatients CBU are pleased to advertise a Clinical Manager post, the post holder will be responsible for the Enhanced Bed Management Team (a Trust wide service but under South locality)
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the South Locality for a Clinical Manager.The post holder will provide clinical and professional leadership to the teams in providing the highest possible quality of care.
The leadership provided by the post holder is crucial to efficient, effective, and caring services. The post holder will be professionally accountable for standards of care and will influence the non-clinical contributions that are necessary to deliver high quality services.
The services are based within the EBM team working across Hopewood Park Hospital and Monkwearmouth (base to be agreed).
Main duties of the job
An exiting opportunity has arisen within South Locality for a Clinical Manager within the Inpatient CBU, South locality.
The portfolio includes the Enhanced Bed Management Team, this is a Trust wide service but located in the South Inpatients Team (South locality)
The post holder will be responsible for supporting team managers with all clinical, quality and workforce objectives for the service and work with the collective leadership teams within the services to develop and embed long term strategies for continued delivery of high quality and patient focussed care.
The post offers an exciting opportunity to help transform services within the South Locality, improving involvement of patients and carers, Third sector partners and developing collective approaches to delivering high quality evidence based services to meet the objectives of the organisation in meeting the needs of our patients and carers. A key piece of work within this post will be supporting the delivery of the Effective Inpatient and Urgent Care workstream.
