Main duties of the job

The post holder will fulfil an important role supporting data analytics in the context of audit and assurance services. This will include the analysis and interpretation of large data sets and developing new innovative products.

The post holder should be able to demonstrate experience and understanding of a wide variety of analytical and statistical methods and have experience of SQL querying and/or programming to interrogate and analyse complex healthcare data.

This role will provide Data Analytical and Auditing support across AuditOne's Assurance Directorate and will work collaboratively across three service lines.

The post holder will work unsupervised across a range of clients and complex audit areas to provide data analytical support to our business assurance and technology risk assurance teams. This will require the identification of 'big data'/data analytic opportunities, and the development and application of data interrogations to supplement conventional audit work. Also required to provide bespoke support to all audit teams in the delivery of audits and special projects.

Additionally, the post holder will identify, develop, maintain and routinely produce internal business metrics to demonstrate key AuditOne performance indicators are being met and to drive business efficiencies.

To provide support and training to staff to up-skill around use of big data.

This role will provide an added value service to clients and maximise audit efficiencies.
