An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Clinical Psychologist to join the new Integrated Veterans Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (Op Courage - North of England) working with partners from across a provider collaborative in the North of England.
Op Courage represents the new integrated mental health and wellbeing service formerly provided by the Transition, Intervention and Liaison Service, Complex Treatment Service and High Intensity Service. The service is delivered in South & West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, and Humber, the North-East and the North-West by specialist teams operating within these localities as part of a provider collaborative. The post holders work base may be in any of these regions depending on where they live.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist who is accredited by the BABCP as a cognitive behavioural psychotherapist.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for providing high quality evidence based psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention with service users within a designated locality and, where needed, cross-regionally, whilst supporting the Clinical Lead and Consultant Clinical Psychologist in the development and review of the clinical pathway, and supporting training and development, line management and professional supervision for psychological therapists.
As an experienced Clinical Psychologist, you should have experience of working with complex trauma and with a wide variety of clients across care settings. Experience of working with veterans and veteran services is desirable.
