Job summary

We have a range of full, part time and flexible bank opportunities. As a Clinical Lead you will be instrumental in the provision of effective and strong team leadership, and the monitoring, supervision, guidance and role modelling to the wider clinical and nursing team in the delivery of quality clinical interventions.

The post involves supporting children, young people and their families to ensure their emotional, physical, educational and recreational needs are met at a difficult time in their lives.

Whilst having knowledge and experience of Children and Young Peoples mental health and learning disability services is desirable having the right values and attitudes and the desire to work in a challenging but rewarding environment is essential.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be motivated to engage and adapt to fast-changing patient presentations in a dynamic ward environment. You will be able to demonstrate skills in promoting good relationships and effective communication with children and young people, their relatives and carers, all members of the team, as well as multi-agency colleagues.

We will provide you with a comprehensive induction period and have access to ongoing clinical supervision and appraisal with development review that will provide you with support and the specialist skills required to meet the holistic needs of the children and young people in your care.
