Main duties of the job

Within Richardson Eating Disorder Service we have an exciting opportunity for two enthusiastic, dynamic and committed registered mental health nurses to work as Clinical Nurse Leads. One role is based on Ward 31a (RVI) and one role within the Intensive Day Service (Walkergate Park).We require skilled clinicians with a focus on facilitating and coordinating clinical practice, ensuring high standards of evidence based care and treatment and advocating for positive change.As Clinical Nurse Lead you will be instrumental in the provision of effective and strong team leadership, and the monitoring, supervision, guidance and role modelling to the wider clinical and nursing team. You will act as an identified deputy in the absence of the ward manager and will be visible and accessible to patients, families and carers working together to ensure efficient, effective and caring services. You will lead on the implementation of all performance indicators, essential standards and quality outcomes. You will develop and where appropriate deliver training packages to enhance the knowledge and skills of the workforce.You will facilitate staff appraisals and Clinical Supervision and support personal development plans. You will ensure the ongoing development of our service, meeting Care Quality Commission Essential Standards and support the coordination of their actions were necessary.
