Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Central Locality Community Clinical Business Unit for three permanent, full time Band 8a Clinical Managers. Post is within the Older Adults Pathway.
Applications will be welcomed from candidates with experience of managing multidisciplinary teams, complex clinical services and an understanding of Community Pathways, they will have skills in staff & team management providing clinical advice, leadership and supervision.
The post holder will also form part of the Central Community CBU working within the principles of collective leaderships and devolved decision making to ensure that safe, high quality care is delivered. Working closely with the teams to deliver effective practice, a culture of improvement and excellence in delivering services. The post holder will work within CNTW policy and procedures.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide clinical and professional leadership to support the Clinical Business Unit Pathway/Team/Ward managers and nursing teams in providing the highest possible quality of care, within the Older Adults community services pathways. They will maintain a high profile within the Clinical Business Unit.
Working with the Central Community CBU they will develop and promote effective nursing practice and patient care policies including specific responsibilities to designated CBU within the Trust. They will work with the Associate Director ensuring that services and processes are co-ordinated to achieve, safe, high quality care. The post holder will be expected to promote a culture of improvement and excellence in delivering services for our patients and carers.
The leadership provided by the post holder is crucial to efficient, effective, and caring services. Not only will the post holder be professionally accountable for standards of nursing care, they will also influence the non-clinical contributions that are necessary to deliver a high quality care service including cleanliness of the environment and other services that impact on patient care and welfare.

- Professional qualifications such as: RMN, BSc, OT, Psychology, Social Worker.
