Job summary
The End of Life Care Education Team sits within the NCIC Bereavement Service. We are excited to have the opportunity to increase our education support for staff which will build on the strong foundation of education and development already in place.
Under the leadership direction of the End of Life Clinical Educator, the role will support the ongoing education improvement activity across the Trust specific to end of life care.
Support the roll out of the end of life education programme. The aim of which is to reduce variation in care standards across the Trust clinical teams and develop confidence in skills in relation to fundamentals of comfort care, knowledge and practical support in the ward/team setting.
This requires perceptiveness to situation and adaptability, as the role involves supporting staff with different levels of experience and understanding in the fundamental aspects of end of life care.
You will need to have experience of supporting both physical and psychological aspects of care in end of life situations as will be working alongside staff in care delivery.
