Job summary

As ICC Administrative Assistant you will provide clerical support to the ICC Teams, you will work with other administrators, health and social care professionals to develop the ethos of multi-disciplinary, integrated care and seamless services ensuring that patient care is delivered to the highest possible standard.

You will be predominately based at Hilltop Heights but there is also an expectation to be based at Carlisle Medical Practice- North Carlisle on occasions.

You need to have clear organisation skills to help with the ICC Therapy equipment administration, and fleet vehicle administration to support the wider ICC team alongside the day to day admin roles.

Main duties of the job

As an Administrator, working with a level of supervision, you will maintain administrative systems and records to enable the teams to deliver effective community services and to ensure that the office environment is safe, appropriately maintained and equipped.

  • Provide administrative support service including;
  • Deal with queries via telephone , relaying any relevant messages when required.
    • Process inbound and outbound mail
    • Filing, storage, tracking and archiving of patient records using Trac-It and PODFATHER.
    • Ordering stock and maintaining stock control
    • Word processing
    • Laminating
    • Photocopying/scanning
    • Minute taking
    • To create and maintain reports, spreadsheets and correspondence using a variety of computer packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • Produce letters
    • Order equipment on behalf of clinical staff
