Job summary

Band 5 Staff Nurse Ward 7/8 General Medicine West Cumberland Hospital -up to 225 hours available- We are seeking an enthusiastic/ motivated Band 5 Registered Nurse to join our team on Ward 7/8 at the West Cumberland Hospital . Ward 7/8 is a 12-22 bedded acute general medical ward in the West Cumberland hospital. It manages and provides care for a range of medical conditions as well as organising and facilitating discharges.

Main duties of the job

The opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 staff nurse to join our team on Ward 7/8.

Ward 7/8 is a 12-22 bedded acute general medical ward in the West Cumberland hospital. The ward manages and provides care for a range of medical conditions as well as organising and facilitating discharges. We also work closely with a wide variety of MDT to enhance patient care.

An important aspect of the role will be promoting a positive, supportive working environment which values and supports staff. Good communication skills are essential. Individuals should be flexible and be able to demonstrate they are an excellent role model with the ability to develop positive and professional interpersonal relationships.

You must be a registered RGN. The successful applicant must be reliable, punctual, and be able to accommodate a flexible shift pattern. Applicants must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage time and prioritise workload along with the ability to work under pressure.
