Job summary

Housekeeper Band 2 - 37.5 hours available -Ward 5 West Cumberland Hospital

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team on Ward 5, we are seeking to recruit a highly enthusiastic and motivated team player who will work within the team providing high quality service ensuring standards are maintained.

The department is a medical ward caring for patients with a range of acute and chronic medical conditions including: COPD, MS, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and dementia.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the job includes:

Assist with meal rounds and serve patients meals/drinks

Assist with feeding patients and update relevant documentation

Order weekly stores and put away on delivery

Routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment

Reporting equipment/ environmental issues

Replenish ward supplies including linen

Maintain patient privacy and dignity

Liaise with other professionals in team
