Paediatric Staff Nurse, Band 5, Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle
This vacancy offers the opportunity to be part of a growing, vibrant paediatric team, providing effective health care to the people of north Cumbria and working to bring about dynamic change in the way patients requiring health care are managed in north Cumbria.
Based at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, we are seeking to recruit Registered Nurses (Child), with active RSCN registration, to work within our paediatric emergency department.
We have recently just opened a new paediatric department within our main A&E. We have a triage room, 3 treatment rooms including a HDU and a safe room to see and assess CAMHS patients safely.
You will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate nursing care, providing the prescribed nursing care without supervision. You will also contribute to the development and evaluation of nursing practice within the department and ward area, as well as providing nursing care in accordance with local policies, procedures and guidelines and comply with NMC code of professional conduct.
