Job summary

Occupational Therapy Team Lead (2 posts available each working 37.50 hours per week, full time)

Due to internal promotion a vacancy has arisen for two Occupational Therapy Team Leads within the Carlisle ICCs.

This role is working within an extremely high pressured department in a fast changing service.

You will be leading a high performing team including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, assistant practitioners/rehabilitation practitioners, therapy assistants and home care practitioners. Alongside the ability to deliver an urgent response service, this role will requires a special interest in community therapy, safeguarding, and overseeing the management of complex patients.

Main duties of the job

Clinical responsibility, including overseeing complex patients; Supervision, teaching and training; staff management and leadership, service development and evaluation, quality and safety.
