Band 5 Digital Trainer 37.5 hours per week (permanent)
We are pleased to offer the opportunity to join our team in the role of Digital Trainer. The post will be part of the Applications Service within Digital Healthcare of North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (NCIC), based at our either our Carlisle or at Whitehaven site.
Digital Healthcare provides a range of services to the Trust and its Partners across Cumbria and the North East. This includes Information Governance, Digital Programmes, and Operational Services.
The Digital Training team are responsible for the planning, design and organisation of delivery of training for clinical and non-clinical applications for both business as usual and projects. Provision of system go-live support for change programmes, implementations and upgrades.
Main duties of the job
The service works with both internal staff, stakeholders & external suppliers and requires individuals to often work under pressure.
This role will involve the post holder analysing training needs, developing courses and materials for face to face, remote and elearning courses. Leading group sessions for staff of all disciplines and providing on-site support during system Go-Live periods (which may occur outside of normal working hours). Applicants will be educated to Graduate level or have demonstrable relevant experience with a high level knowledge of MS Office and have a good understanding of clinical systems.
The Digital Training department provides a challenging but supportive environment and the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate high levels of computer literacy, good attention to detail and problem solving skills. Candidates must have excellent presentation and communication skills in order to work collaboratively and successfully deliver training to end users. They must also be able to work independently and as part of a team, be responsive to new ideas and have a positive attitude to change.
