Job summary
GIDS is looking to recruit two Band 6 Project Managers.
These roles are fixed term positions for 4 months to support the Assistant General Manager in the closure of the service.
It is an excellent opportunity for a team manager with project management experience who is looking to take the next step in their career.
Main duties of the job
GIDS Project Manager
This is an important and challenging role with a varied, interesting and developing workload. The post will be based at the Tavistock Centre, London, and may require travel to other sites/locations as required. The successful applicant will support the project management of a full range of project services and logistics to support delivery of projects on time and to budget.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic project manager able to work independently to support all the requirements of the role. With strong IT skills and project experience, the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a high level of communication skills and an ability to coordinate data analysis and audit tasks as required to successfully support service strategy.
Other skills required include being a team player, having a flexible approach to work, and being adaptable to changing demands.

About us
The Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS) is a Tier 4 specialist service within the gender directorate, and offers a service to children and adolescents and their families, who are experiencing difficulties in the development of gender identity.
The service operates from two main bases, London and Leeds, with outreach bases in Bristol and Birmingham, as well as offering outreach work across the UK.
