Job summary
The CAMHS Directorate is wishing to appoint a practitioner psychologist to join the Whole Family Team (WFT) based at 5 Pancras Square Camden N1C 4AG, but may be onsite in the in an allocate local authority team. The Whole Family Team is part of the Whole Family Service (WFS) which is an innovative Local Authority CAMHS service, emerging from Camden's Local Transformation Plan to build integrated, needs based, responsive and accessible services delivered "at the right place at the right time by a professional with the right skills". The WFS is made up of two teams: the WFT and WFT with Perinatal Specialism). The team's staff are co-located with Local Authority Camden MASH / Child In Need / Early Help / SEN and Children's Centres, two Pupil Referral units, Young Parent Service and Family Centre staff, Youth Offending Service and the Primary and Secondary Pupil Referral Unit. WFS staff work with families where a high level of integration is needed between CAMHS and other agencies. Many of these families are subject to Child Protection Plans and are known to multiple professional specialist agencies/services.
The post primarily is to work as an integrated member of the Whole Family Team with a specialist role in co-ordinating CAMHS input for young people with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs as part of a multi-agency Local Authority team.
