Job summary

Are you interested in joining us to lead our internationally renownedExecutive Coaching Programme, acting as Programme Director.

Centred on the systems-psychodynamic model and accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council to Senior Practitioner level, our Executive Coaching Programme uses different learning techniques to develop in-depth coaching skills including: skills practice, experiential exercises, facilitated role-play, theory presentations, supervised coaching practice, coaching syndicate groups, video analysis and reflective plenary sessions.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will lead the team delivering the course and be responsible for managing the course team, course budget and recruitment. They will ensure good relationships with applicants, students and staff and all aspects of learning, teaching and academic governance are attended to including ensuring equality, diversity and inclusion is effectively addressed in student and staff recruitment, learning and teaching materials and assessment. They will lead course development and liaison with relevant internal and external colleagues and organisations.

Essential

  • Professional Executive Coaching accreditation.
  • Masters level qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
  • Qualification in coaching from a systems psychodynamic perspective.
  • Evidence of continuing personal development
  • Advance HE/HEA Fellowship/PG Cert in Higher Education or equivalent or a commitment to applying for fellowship within one year

Experience

Essential

  • Significant post-qualifying experience in executive coaching.
  • Substantial experience of course organisation and teaching at postgraduate level or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of managing a complex network of relationships, interfacing with a range of external agencies.
  • Understanding of and commitment to the value of difference in experience in a training context and of overseeing inclusive teaching, learning and assessment strategies
  • Substantial experience of working as an educator

Desirable

  • Experience of managing staff
  • A research and publication record

Skills

Essential

  • Capacity to work efficiently to specified timeframes.
  • Capacity to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to support, develop, supervise and undertake course management responsibilities
