The pharmacy clinical trials service at Barts Health has seen significant investment over the last few years and the evolving team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and assistants manage an ever expanding portfolio of clinical trials. We have an exciting opportunity for a pharmacy technician to join the team and develop skills within clinical research.
We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic person who has proven organisational and management skills and exceptional attention to detail. You will be responsible for the day -to-day running (setup and maintenance) of dispensary based clinical trials managed through Barts Health, and ensure they are being managed according to the regulatory requirements for research.
This is a permanent position based at St Bartholomew's Hospital.
The role is full time, Monday-Friday (with additional weekend and bank holiday commitments). Full training and development opportunities will be provided. Flexible working will be considered

Main duties of the job
The principal objective of this role is to oversee the operational aspects of all dispensary based trials at St Bartholomew's Hospital. The post holder will be expected;
To co-ordinate the efficient and smooth running of operational pharmacy aspects of dispensary based clinical trials at St. Bartholomew's hospital
Support the clinical trial coordinator to ensure all documentation including standard operating procedures are relevant, in date and according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) requirements

- Quality Improvement training
