We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Children's Paediatric Critical Care Outreach Nurse to provide their expertise to the existing established Paediatric Critical Care Outreach team. team.
Our Paediatric Critical Care Unit (PCCU) provides Level 3 ICU and High dependency care and treats some of the most seriously ill children who come to us from across East London and beyond. We are also an on take service for the North Thames Children's Acute Transport Service, CATS, and our nurses rotate to CATS nursing shifts. We also have a dediated remit to assess and escalate the deteriorating patient within the paediatric wards.
The role will also help develop the critical care outreach service within the children's hospital, advanced nursing practice and support the expansion of the PCCU network.The successful applicant will have:- Registered Children's Nurse- Post Graduate Qualification in Intensive Care Nursing or Emergency medicine- Substantial experience within Critical Care/ Emergency Dept- Evidence of change managementWhat we can offer you:We are a friendly Children's Hospital, and can offer several leadership development opportunities as well as the opportunity to continue their professional development through attendance on relevant courses provided by varied universities.
