An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the Antenatal Clinicteam at Royal London Hospital, to support the team in their provision of woman centred care.

We are looking for a calm, flexible and efficient Maternity Care Assistant who can understand the needs of patients and visitors and whose priority is to deliver high quality patient care. You should also be able to communicate clearly and be keen to learn within the scope of this role and it is essential that applicants have the basic level of competency identified in the personal specification.
The successful applicant will be a crucial member of the Antenatal clinic team by providing clinical support to women and their families as well as clerical, administrative, general housekeeping and other supportive roles within the maternity service.
Main duties of the job
The Senior Maternity Healthcare Support Worker will be an integral part of the ward/department team actively taking part in meeting the needs of patients and of the service in accordance with agreed standards under direct supervision of the registered nurses, nursery nurses and midwives. The post holder will develop essential competencies though training and practice to ensure safety and quality are the priority.
