Key Responsibilities:
- TTA Assembly and Supply: Assist in the accurate assembly, labelling, and distribution of TTA medications, including dosette boxes and compliance aids.
- Stock Management: Maintain stock accuracy by receiving deliveries, rotating stock, and identifying short-dated medicines for redistribution.
- Collaboration: Foster positive relationships with pharmacy colleagues, clinical staff, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Administrative Support: Contribute to accurate data collection and documentation to support service monitoring and improvement initiatives.
- Adherence to Policies: Follow Trust policies on confidentiality, data protection, health and safety, and infection control procedures.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will primarily support the TTA Optimisation Service at The Royal London Hospital, rotating between the TTA hub and dosette box workstream to assist in the safe, timely, and accurate supply of discharge medicines. As part of a team focused on improving discharge efficiency, the post holder will help prepare, label, and distribute prescribed items, maintain stock accuracy, and contribute to the day-to-day running of the service under the direction of the Senior Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician.
A key part of this role involves maintaining safe and organised stock control across the TTA Hub and other clinical areas, including receiving and putting away deliveries, rotating stock, and identifying short-dated medicines for redistribution where necessary. The post holder will also assist with pharmacy top-up services and support the wider department in meeting medicines optimisation and discharge-related KPIs.
The role requires good communication, initiative, and the ability to work independently within defined procedures. The post holder is expected to foster positive working relationships with pharmacy colleagues, clinical staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
