We currently have a vacancy for a dynamic, motivated nurse to work in the busy Cardiology Research Department within Barts Heart Centre, the biggest cardiovascular centre in Europe. It will be a fixed term post for 12 months with a potential to extend on a rolling basis.

Main duties of the job

The primary responsibility for this post holder is to coordinate and support the delivery of the commercial cardiomyopathy clinical trials of investigational medicinal products at Barts Heart Center. Also, they need to provide clinical and research knowledge to the multi-professional team and take responsibility for the setup, delivery, and management of our portfolio of cardiomyopathy CTIMPs. The post-holder will mainly be based within the Cardiology Research Department at the Barts Heart Centre. You will be a research nurse with at least 1 - 3 years of experience at Band 6 or above and have a strong cardiology background and experience working with CTIMPs. You must demonstrate strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, be computer literate, flexible and be able to manage your own time effectively.
