Pharmacy Clinical Trials Finance Support Officer - Band 5 (Fixed-Term)

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our pharmacy clinical trials team. You must be reliable, methodical and show exceptional attention to detail.

Main duties of the job

This is a fixed-term six-month contract with the focus being to support the team with the management of clinical trial pharmacy financial services, including invoicing and income recovery. Previous experience in an office environment is essential along with a background in financial management, preferably within the NHS.

The role is full time, Monday-Friday. Full training and development opportunities will be provided.

  • oGCSEs grades A-C/4-9 in English, Maths and Science
  • oUndergraduate degree Level 5 or equivalent experience

Desirable

  • oILM Level 3 Leadership and Management qualification or equivalent
  • oProject management, e.g. PRINCE2 or AGILE
  • oQuality Improvement training

  • oPrevious office experience e.g. purchasing/stores (ordering, invoice reconciliation, or other finance work) - preferably within NHS
  • oUse of Datix incident reporting system or equivalent
