Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Transformation (Group Operations) to support the development of robust transformation programmes across the elective care pathway. This role is pivotal in delivering productivity improvements and ensuring the sustainable delivery of elective care across the Group

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities:o Support the development and implementation of transformation programmes to improve productivity and sustainability in elective care.o Engage and collaborate with teams to create a vision, culture, and approach that aligns with corporate priorities and trust-wide initiatives.o Oversee all activities, projects, issues, and risks associated with planned care transformation and improvement plans.o Lead Group-wide initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance services and processes.o Develop and oversee transformation priorities as part of the Group Director of Planned Care's portfolio.o Integrate programme management, change management, and continuous improvement to deliver large-scale improvements in line with the organisation's long-term strategy.About You:The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, and programme and change management skills. You will have the ability to quickly build credibility across the Trust and with partners, influencing at all levels. You will be adept at identifying and managing challenges and blockages, whether technical or cultural, and dealing sensitively with these while delivering results.
