Job summary

The Pharmacy Department at Barts Health is one of the largest in the country and covers a population of 2.5 million. We provide clinical pharmacy and medicines optimisation services from our five hospital sites across the City of London, East and North East London.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic, and compassionate pharmacist to join our friendly and forward-thinking Medicines Information, Safety, and Governance team. The post holder will support the development and delivery of the Trust's Medication Safety agenda and will Deputise for the Trust Medication Safety Officer (MSO). The post holder will participate in developing and delivering the Trust's Medication Safety agenda, working closely with the MSO and the pharmacy leadership team. Potential candidates will have experience working in the arena of Medication Safety, Governance and Risk in an acute clinical setting and knowledge of the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework. Previous experience in undertaking quality improvement projects and policy writing would also be beneficial.
