Whipps Cross Respiratory ServiceTrust Grade ST3 + equivalent until end of May 2025
Our Respiratory team is growing and we would like you to be a part of our fantastic workforce. We are advertising for a 1-year fixed-term clinical fellow (ST3 + equivalent) post. This post will sit within the department of Respiratory medicine but can include General Medicine on-call work if the successful applicant so desires.
The successful applicant will be able to develop individualised educational goals.This post presents excellent opportunities to develop clinical skills and has a high level of consultant supervision. This provides a good educational opportunity and if the post holder is interested they will be able to gain audit, research or teaching experience. Main duties of the job
This post will get an opportunity to gain experience working in both inpatient and outpatients services. The Respiratory Department provides a TB, plural Clinic, bronchoscopy, COPD which include acute NIV, pulmonary rehabilitation and early discharge Services. The Service has a fully equipped lung function laboratory and dedicated outpatient facility (Chest Clinic)You must hold full registration with the General Medical Council and have experience across a broad range of Medical Subspecialties.
