We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Clinical Research Operations Coordinator to join our Clinical Services (CSD) Research Support team. You will be responsible for coordinating departmental approvals, reviewing research protocols, supporting study delivery, costings and invoicing CSD research activities.
The Clinical Research Operations Coordinator will work as a key member of the Clinical Services Division (CSD) Research Support team, working for various clinical specialities including:
Pharmacy Imaging & MRI Nuclear MedicinePET Radiotherapy PathologyClin. Psychology Radiopharmacy Therapies
As part of the wider team, this post is an exciting post balancing research governance, delivery and performance analysis.
Main duties of the job
The Clinical Research Operations Coordinator will be expected to be the centre point of contact in CSD during study set up, liaising with various teams from study delivery teams, departmental leads, research governance, sponsors and CROs.
The post-holder will support clinical duties undertaken by the senior research practitioner. This will involve direct patient-facing responsibilities as part of the new research delivery initiative.The post holder will have a strong understanding of the research life cycle, support query resolution and follow the principles of GCP at all times. The post holder will also provide support with study costings and financial.
