The Waltham Forest Women's Health Hub is seeking an experienced and innovative Specialist Physiotherapist to provide specialist assessment, treatment and advice to patients referred via a new single point of access for gynaecology referrals. This role will involve providing leadership in developing, planning, coordinating, delivering and evaluating the Pelvic Health service provided to patients within the multidisciplinary clinic in the Womens Health Hub.

We are looking for an experienced Specialist Physiotherapist with a commitment to and passion for improving services and outcomes for patients and their families. This role requires individuals with experience of working with Gynaecology /Maternity/ Urology patients and evidence of CPD in accordance with HPC recommendations.
Main duties of the job
o This is a role working in a Women's Health musculoskeletal outpatient physiotherapy department, but working closely alongside Women's Health Hub colleagues, including Gynaecology/Sexual and Reproductive Health Consultant and GPs with a Special Interest in Women's Health.
o To provide specialist assessment, treatment and advice to patients within the field of women's health, facilitating and maximising patient potential within the service boundaries
o Provide leadership in developing, planning, coordinating, delivering and evaluating the Pelvic Health clinic service provided to patients within your specialist area on a day to day basis and with a view to future developments
o To give highly specialist guidance and advice to other members of the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) on matters relating to your specialist area
o To act as a specialist resource for physiotherapy staff and other health care professionals.
o To take a lead role in providing women's health physiotherapy care, including the advanced assessment and treatment of patients who have diverse presentation and can be highly complex. To work in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to provide clinical diagnosis, and as an autonomous practitioner plan and perform appropriate treatment, and maintain records and ensure others do the same. To assess to a high level and be able to treat and provide advice on cases.
