  • Registered Nurse (RN1) with Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) of UK
  • Degree or equivalent in relevant field of study
  • Intravenous accreditation
  • Evidence of continuing professional development

Desirable

  • Prep for mentorship course or equivalent
  • Evidence of professional development e.g. Acute care skills training

Experience

Essential

  • Previous acute ward experience

Desirable

  • Experience in caring for acutely unwell patient or level 2 patients or equivalent

Knowledge

Essential

  • Full understanding of the NMC The Code: professional standards (2015) and revalidation process to maintain professional registration
  • Ability to assess, plan and evaluate patient care according to the needs of the individual
  • Reflective practitioner
  • Knowledge on current healthcare issues

  • Prep for mentorship course or equivalent
